I completed 500 hours of training from the Lauterstein-Conway Massage School in May, 2019. My transition to massage therapy comes from 15 years of work experience as a social worker, helping to promote the well-being of individuals in challenging life situations. Having become a mother to two rambunctious little boys, and then surviving cancer, I decided it was time to take my life in a new direction. It is my mission to switch my focus to building Zen into my own life, as well as those around me.. I'm eager to learn all I can about massage therapy services, from aromatherapy to hot stone massage, and especially to focus on prenatal massage, oncology massage, and manual lymphatic drainage. Until I've got those specialties under my belt I will be offering customized massages utilizing a combination of modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, deep massage, orthopedic, body mobilization, passive stretches, prenatal and chair massage with the intent to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.
