My transition to massage therapy comes from 15 years of work experience as a social worker, helping to promote the well-being of individuals in challenging life situations. Having become a mother to two rambunctious little boys, and then surviving cancer, I decided it was time to take my life in a new direction. It is my mission to switch my focus to building Zen into my own life, as well as those around me. I've added aromatherapy, hot stones and salt stones to my practice and I recently completed an intensive pre and perinatal massage training, and I'm excited to join the birthing community. I've completed a certification in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage, and in the end of October I'll be completing additional certification training in oncology massage. I offer customized massages utilizing a combination of modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, Deep Massage, orthopedic, body mobilization, passive stretches, pre and peri natal and chair massage with the intent to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.
